Has Nothing To Do with You

Many of us think we that we do not participate in the world of fashion and style. This is especially true of many men who view their ignorance with a certain amount of pride.   But the fact is we are all making choices based on fashion every day.

Consider the above color palette.  Despite the thousands of possible colors to choose from,   the majority of men will have a large number of clothes from in small range of colors.  These colors are common because they are considered masculine and respectable colors.  Wearing clothes in order to convey a message about yourself (other than the fact that you are clothed) is making a fashion statement, and everyone does it.

To suffer from the delusion that you are not making fashion statements every day is simply to be ignorant of the ones you are making.   Though they may not be fair and they may not true but people make assumptions about your background, your intelligence, your confidence, or even your politics from what you wear and how you wear it.
